It's time that my truck got some new boots. The set of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO that's on it now are long overdue to be replaced. I'm getting a set of the new KO2s:
The question is, do I keep the white lettering hidden inside like before, or have them mounted with the lettering out? I 'shooped it on the pic above, what does Oppo think?
I think I've already made up my mind...

TRUCK- White Lettering Out
CAR- White Lettering In
That's my policy and I stick to it!

All trucks, SUVs, and big vans should have white lettered tires I think. So out.

When I was a teenager, I had a set of Woosung snow tires on my '84 VW Rabbit. I got a tire lettering paint pen from Cambodian Tire and spruced 'em up good!

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking. If I kept the original chrome wheels , it'd be a different story.

I consider those big vans. I mean like Grand Caravans or Siennas.

I think even with chrome wheels the lettering out would look good.

White lettering out, most definitely. I think this is the correct answer all the time for trucks/muscle/sports cars.
Unless the tire has a whitewall. That shit goes in unless you're rolling on Daytons or something.

I personally like to see the white lettering on a tall truck tire sidewall.

A long wheelbase Astro/Safari is only 81 lbs heavier than a current-gen Grand Caravan. It's around 6" taller than either the G.C. or Sienna, but it's about 1" narrower and 10"-12" shorter than either.
